Cedar Ward is an 18 bedded female trauma and orthopaedic ward, specialising in patients with musculoskeletal injuries and spinal injuries . If you are a newly qualified nurse we offer preceptorship over a year with the full support of practice development team to ensure that you are able to take those first steps from novice in a supported environment. If you already have nursing experience we are able to offer the benefits of working in one of the largest NHS organizations in the country, with access to a variety of education and training opportunities through the Barts Health Education Academy. The most exciting of these is our Foundations of Surgical Nursing course which offers 60 credits at level 7 and is available to all nurses in the Surgical and Orthopaedic division once you have a years’ experience For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification.
