An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated hard working team in Trauma and Orthopaedics. We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who understand the importance of compassionate care. You will need to enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to prioritise care.

Cedar Ward is an 18 bedded female trauma and orthopaedic ward, specialising in patients with musculoskeletal injuries and spinal injuries .

If you are a newly qualified nurse we offer preceptorship over a year with the full support of practice development team to ensure that you are able to take those first steps from novice in a supported environment.

If you already have nursing experience we are able to offer the benefits of working in one of the largest NHS organizations in the country, with access to a variety of education and training opportunities through the Barts Health Education Academy.

The most exciting of these is our Foundations of Surgical Nursing course which offers 60 credits at level 7 and is available to all nurses in the Surgical and Orthopaedic division once you have a years’ experience
