The successful candidate will be working across the hospital and community within the Respiratory Team in the Respiratory Directorate in hospital outpatient clinics; in the home oxygen service; and pulmonary rehabilitation. This post requires the ability to be able to provide flexible daytime shift working across 7 days. Weekends are on a rotational basis. The service is committed to training and developing staff within their role and any required training will be provided. Please note that the salary advertised is for full time hours. The post holder will be expected to work at highly specialist level within the Respiratory Team . The respiratory service consists of the Home Oxygen Service for East Lancashire, Respiratory Nurse Specialist team , Pulmonary rehab team, ANPs and Respiratory Diagnostics and the RAU team, who all work collaboratively to deliver expert respiratory care. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a problem solving approach to their work and be flexible to work across the pathways of care within clinical settings of the Respiratory Service. Key responsibilities will include the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, be responsible for ensuring effective systems and processes are in place to facilitate the education and training of all non specialist staff and students.
