You'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality dental care, focusing on preventative and restorative treatments, and enhancing the oral health standards within our community. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments Take and interpret radiographs for effective treatment planning Perform periodontal treatments to prevent and manage gum disease Provide direct restorative treatments, including fillings and sealants Safely extract deciduous (baby) teeth Apply fluoride treatments and other preventive measures Participate in the development and maintenance of the Falkland Islands' Oral Health Strategy Collaborate with other dental professionals to deliver integrated care Plan and implement Dental Health Education programs Engage with local schools and community groups to promote good oral hygiene practices The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a Dental Therapist who is passionate about oral health and has the experience and skills necessary to thrive in our unique environment.
