The post is based in our new Wembley community diagnostic centre, helping to supporting a diverse range of diagnostic procedures in CT and MRI. This post is also to support a new extended hours pilot taking place for 6 months. Once 6 month trial period is over you may be redeployed as an imaging assistant within the trust. The successful applicant will be assisting radiographers, nurses, consultants and patients to maximize throughput and patient satisfaction. Extended day and weekend shift patterns are a requirement of the post. A flexible approach to work is therefore essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to cope with a very wide range of tasks including patient care, administrative and clerical duties, stock management and cleaning of equipment and rooms.
