This is an innovative service offering assessment and treatment of young people under the age of 14 with a variety of complex mental health needs . We are looking for psychology graduates with previous Assistant Psychologist or relevant clinical experience who are interested in working with young people with emotional and mental health difficulties, who can be compassionate, thoughtful and have the ability to apply psychological theory to their work. Weekly supervision for this post will be provided by a clinical psychologist within the team. We have good links with the University of East Anglia (UEA) Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programme with previous post holders having been accepted onto the clinical doctorate and regularly have Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement. Working as part of the MDT this role will involve working with staff to offer psychologically informed care, develop psychological formulations as well as supporting the wider team with undertaking routine outcome measures and reporting on these outcomes. Further responsibilities of this post will be conducting reviews alongside Clinical Psychologists within the team, supporting the wider psychological therapies team and supporting with monitoring of clients on waiting lists.
