The Royal London Emergency Department is looking for a forward thinking, highly motivated Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team within a busy and rewarding Major Trauma Centre. To provide the highest standard of individualised and holistic patient care, in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team. Work collaboratively with the ED Nursing, Medical and Operations team to provide care that is safe and effective. Supports the example set by the senior sisters/charge nurses to act as a senior nurse providing organisation managerial support to the multi-professional team To act as a role model to junior members of staff To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, trust policies, guidance and procedures to ensure safe working practice of self and others. To take charge of the Emergency Department when required to do so Strive to work within the national targets for Emergency Departments To line manage a group of Emergency Department Assistants and Staff Nurses To engage with Quality Improvement Projects to enhance patient and staff experience Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain’s leading healthcare providers.
