This is a great opportunity for an experienced therapist who would like to develop their understanding and skills of working with substance misuse and coexisting mental health using a trauma informed perspective. Our friendly team already includes three clinical psychologists, a CBT therapist and Dual Diagnosis lead, and we are looking to expand our offer of individual and group psychological therapies to our Bury team. The main duties are to support the delivery of our 12 week groupwork programme for Trauma and Addiction coping skills (underpinned by CBT and CFT principles); and offer individual psychological therapy for individuals who have substance misuse and common mental health problems. You will contribute to our weekly referrals meeting in working on creative ways to support people and staff in offering trauma informed perspective.
