{"interviewQueryText":"What are some good interview questions in British English for the job description below?\n\n-------------------------------------------\n\nSupport Worker with Mirus in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom\n\nWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team based in Canton, Cardiff. For this role you must have a full UK driving license. We currently have 1 person we support in their home, with 2 vacancies. This is what the wonderful person we support says: “Hello, I am a 64 year old man who lives in Canton. I live in a shared house with 2 other people. I am looking for a support worker who can encourage me to do more - both in my home and out in my local community. I really love Cardiff FC and I go to all their home games. I enjoy doing things in Canton – like going for a pub lunch, playing pool, going to the cinema and meeting up with my family and friends. I've recently also joined a walking group and a gardening club. I do need some prompting with my personal care and my daily tasks around the house. I would really love to become more independent and be able to do more of these tasks myself, things like washing up and cooking. So who am I looking for? ….Someone who is calm and will take the time to help me express myself. I like a quiet home so I would prefer someone who is softly spoken ….but can still make me laugh! I like people who are fun to be with and will help me try out new things. And someone who likes football….preferably Cardiff City! What will you be doing? As a Support Worker you will develop, implement, and review a range of individual support plans to enable the person that you will support to lead a fulfilling life. You will provide support with a range of tasks which may include household and domestic tasks, shopping, diet/food preparation, personal care, personal hygiene, dressing and personal appearance. As a Support worker we will support you in studying towards your QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care, which is completely funded by mirus. You will work alongside other professionals such as care managers, community nurses and occupational therapists to deliver high quality support. What we are looking for? You may understand the issues associated with people with complex needs, but we will provide in depth training and coaching. Being a Support Worker takes bravery, patience, and commitment. If you share our values and are willing to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you! What are our benefits? Fully funded and supported qualification – QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care (if not already achieved). Paid work-related travel at 45p per mile between services. Premium payments for sleep in and wake in. Full training programme and opportunities for development and promotion. A Wellbeing Hub. Social Wales Registration and DBS paid for by mirus. Once employed, a £300 employee referral scheme Next Steps To apply for this fantastic opportunity to join our team and make a difference to people's lives, please click on the APPLY button below.
