MAIN DUTIES OF JOB The Royal Derby Hospital has a purpose built dedicated Private Patient Unit comprising of a ward, Outpatients Department and minor procedures room. The unit operates 7 days a week and cares for predominantly but not exclusively surgical patients in the Inpatient Ward and a wide variety of clinical case mix in the outpatient area. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who will support the clinical team being: passionate about putting the patient first and making a real difference to their experience. have good communication and organisational skills. having high standards of personal care provision to the patient. committed to maintaining patient safety, privacy and dignity. The ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a changing workload is essential as a high degree of flexibility is a key aspect of this post. You will be required to work a combination of day shifts, currently Monday to Friday, but weekends can not be ruled out going forward.
