This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to be part of the friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team on Derby Private Health(DPH)DPH is offers a dynamic, varied and interesting place to work, you will have an opportunity predominantly in our busy clinic area, caring for a wide speciality of patients, and assisting consultants with minor procedures. We so also have an 11 bedded ward area and you may also be asked to help out across the ward area.
The right person will be caring and polite with an enthusiasm for learning and taking on new experiences, in return we will offer you training and exposure to a varied and exciting way of working.
MAIN DUTIES OF JOB
The Royal Derby Hospital has a purpose built dedicated Private Patient Unit comprising of a ward, Outpatients Department and minor procedures room. The unit operates 7 days a week and cares for predominantly but not exclusively surgical patients in the Inpatient Ward and a wide variety of clinical case mix in the outpatient area.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who will support the clinical team being:
- passionate about putting the patient first and making a real difference to their experience.
- have good communication and organisational skills.
- having high standards of personal care provision to the patient.
- committed to maintaining patient safety, privacy and dignity.
You will be required to work a combination of day shifts, currently Monday to Friday, but weekends can not be ruled out going forward. You must have significant previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a ward and or outpatient setting.
**This post is annualised hours post-
you will receive your full pay guaranteed every month
- irrelevant of the actual number of hours worked as these will be worked flexibly throughout the year**
