St Teresas Hospice, Darlington is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead our Inpatient Unit and Community Hospice teams, ensuring that the Hospice's strategic vision and operational objectives are achieved through high-quality patient-centred care. This is an exciting new role, with potential development opportunities including becoming the Hospice's CQC Registered Manager and Accountable Officer in the future, subject to succession planning needs. St Teresas Hospice Band 7, £39,485-£47,095 per annum pro-rata. Essential qualifications and skills include: Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, and first-level degree in a relevant field Post-registration experience in at least an NHS Agenda for Change Band 6 or equivalent position, in a role with a strong emphasis on palliative care Experience of running a ward, department, or service, and managing budgets Excellent clinical, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills Strong leadership and motivational skills Understanding of clinical governance, and Quality Improvement models Please see job description and person spec for further details.
