The units aim to provide quality rehabilitation and skill development for residents with severe and chronic mental health needs. Main duties of the job Residents have often had long or multiple admissions to inpatient care before moving to the units and the occupational therapist role is key for move-in and move-on from the projects. As such the occupational therapist is required to provide detailed assessments using the Model of Human Occupation, alongside graded interventions and group work. We are looking for a new occupational therapist with excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of the recovery approach in working with people who have long-term mental health needs.
