We Are Looking For a Health Care Assistant With Experience in phlebotomy and/or sexual health screening (not essential) The ability to use your own initiative. Excellent oral and written communication skills A non-judgmental & empathetic attitude Main duties of the job To work across both clinics in Jefferiss Wing - The Sexual Health clinic and The HIV Outpatient Department (The Wharfside Clinic) To carry out care and treatment tasks, delegated from professionally qualified staff, requiring a range of technical ability. Ensure the clinic environment is safe and clean Fulfil any clerical duties To supervise less experienced Nursing Assistants To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide support for any area specified by the co-ordinating nurse on duty.
