Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join their nursing team at The Jefferiss Wing in St Mary's Hospital, London, for an 11-month fixed-term position. The role focuses on providing support in the Sexual Health Service and the HIV Outpatient Department, and entails tasks such as venepuncture, microscopy, patient care, ensuring a safe clinic environment, and performing clerical duties. Ideal candidates should have a QCF Level 3 in Health or equivalent and be willing to learn new skills, such as venepuncture.

The position requires a proactive, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Applicants should have recent experience in an acute care setting and a willingness to supervise less experienced nursing assistants.
