We are seeking a Rota Coordinator to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support in order to ensure that staff rotas for Service are completed within acceptable timeframes and maintained on a daily basis. As part of this role, you will be responsible for covering the services based in Glasgow. The Role You will be responsible for developing shift patterns, communicating with all staff regarding shift patterns, shift changes, overtime, and annual leave. In collaboration with the MDT, ensuring that the Rehabilitation Programmes can be met and calculating the current establishment accurately to ensure that the Rota reflects the needs of each individual unit and arranging annual training for all staff. Maintain accurate records of absences and sicknesses, approve annual leave for staff, and calculate entitlements accurately. The role requires you to work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Key Responsibilities Timely produce and maintain Rota templates for Service in accordance with Working Time Directives and current locally accepted shift patterns including those patterns which are subject to flexible working. Ensure that service is safely staffed at all times. Produce, maintain and record accurate Annual Leave & Sickness forms, including accurate calculations determined by role, working hours per week and length of service. Authorise and record annual leave and ensuring that it is reflected on the rota and recorded accurately in Annual Leave & Sickness forms. Update occupancy as and when needed to maintain staffing levels based on current establishment and subsequently altering and modifying Rotas accordingly.
