Bupa Dental Care is the leading provider of dentistry in the UK, providing dental services in 400 practices across the UK and Ireland . The Head of Transformation will set up and lead the Bupa Dental Care (BDC) Transformation team on a day-to-day basis and execute its responsibilities. The role will lead the transformation portfolio, ensure successful execution of BDC’s major strategic initiatives, and build the transformation muscle across the teams, enabling the business to achieve its growth ambitions. How you’ll help us make health happen: Strategic leadership of the overall BDC transformation portfolio Leading the prioritisation of BDC transformation projects to ensure resources are optimally invested to deliver our strategy. Providing the Executive team with visibility on transformation project progress, decisions required, risks, and opportunities. Developing and maintaining efficient transformation “ways of working” across BDC (e.g. project governance) Leading and coaching a team of project managers across multiple priority transformation projects Building transformation and project management capability across BDC support centre and field teams. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Significant and varied experience of managing varied portfolios of ‘total’ business transformation projects. Background preferably within a healthcare, clinical or retail setting. Proven track record of successfully managing the execution of transformation projects from conception to completion. Demonstrated ability to think commercially and strategically to address key business issues or unlock areas of opportunity Leads transformation portfolio and projects / deliverables effectively and efficiently, with minimal ‘low value’ intervention from Director level. Capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, up to Director / Executive team-level. A mindset that is: curious, strategic, open-minded, growth-oriented. An approach this is: authentic, inclusive and collaborative Advanced leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team Experience in building, leading and developing a team.
