These posts are aimed at Resident Doctors (ST1+) who have completed their FY training (or equivalent) and wish to gain further experience in the specialty of Trauma and Orthopaedics. The post will be based at the Trauma Unit in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Elective Orthopaedic Unit at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. You will be expected to support our FY trainees within the department as well as being given protected time to develop your surgical and clinical skills, audit, research and teaching. There are no on-call requirements for this post, although this may be available at the successful candidate’s request. Please note that your application should include a statement on why you wish to work in Trauma & Orthopaedics. Generic applications will not be considered.
