Do you have a passion for helping people with dementia live well and enjoy their lives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Clifton Gardens care home in Chiswick. As a night care staff member, you’ll be responsible for monitoring residents’ safety and well-being throughout the night, assisting with personal care routines, administering medications, and responding to emergencies. You’ll perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment and keep accurate records of any incidents or changes in residents’ conditions. Effective communication with residents, families, and other staff members is crucial, as is showing compassion, patience, and attention to detail. You’ll also required to call for medical assistance in the night such as 111 or 999. No sponsorship. About The Team You’ll Be Working In We are part of the London Borough of Hounslow and we are based in Chiswick, 10 minutes walk from the high street. The night staff team is integral to ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents throughout the night. We provide comprehensive Induction and probation period which includes a robust training plan, to equip you with the skills from administering medications to responding to emergencies. The role is both challenging and rewarding, as staff members have the opportunity to make a significant impact on residents' lives. We foster a supportive environment where team members can rely on each other, share experiences, and continuously learn. About You You may be wondering if you have the right qualifications and experience to apply for this role. Formal certificates or previous work experience in care, are desirable but what matters most to us, is your attitude and your willingness to learn. We also appreciate any skills or hobbies that you can share with our residents, such as music, gardening, cooking or crafts.
