Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment process Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a of Junior Decontamination Technician within the Hospital Sterilisation Disinfection Unit at the Royal Gwent Hospital. The Junior Decontamination Technician is integral to delivering both elective and emergency procedures. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. The hours are 30 per week, to be worked 14:00 - 22:00 on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Main duties of the job The primary function of the role is the reprocessing of reusable medical devices and endoscopes in in accordance with the departments Quality Management System and accreditation to ISO 13485:2016.
