We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join the Advisory Appointments Committees (AACs) team, which aids in appointing senior hospital doctors in the NHS. As we shift focus more to engagement-led initiatives to assist our members and provide a high standard of service to organisations in their recruitment process, this role will be key in building relationships with our membership base as well as externally with NHS employers. Key Responsibilities You will facilitate RCPs statutory role to help appoint the best doctors to the right roles to improve patient care. You will be using a range of bespoke IT systems to support: Regional advisors and regional specialty advisors in your assigned regions, who review and approve job descriptions for NHS posts before they are advertised NHS Medical staffing to provide lists of college representatives to attend interview panels Manage the regional specialty advisers (RSAs) network About You Experience of working to tight timescales in a customer service role. Excellent organisational skills, problem-solving ability and an exceptional eye for detail Able to plan, organise, and manage multiple inboxes and systems efficiently. Able to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, to assist them and establish effective working relationships. Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting would be desirable. The post offers an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills by learning on the job and allowing the post holder to act on their own initiative.
