The post will primarily be in the Attachment and Trauma Team which is a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychotherapist, family therapist and clinical psychologists. The team works with children with complex trauma, attachment difficulties and a background of abuse and neglect who are presenting with a range of neurodevelopmental, mental health and behavioural difficulties. We also see children with complex and perplexing physical presentations and those with trauma symptoms relating to their medical treatment. The team carries out comprehensive assessments and provides a range of evidence-based treatments to children and young people and their families.
