The Role We are looking for an Office Manager to help us create an inspiring and supportive environment for our employees. A part of the People Team, you’ll ensure our Cardiff office runs seamlessly and foster a workplace culture that makes every employee feel connected and empowered. As our Office Manager, you will: Deliver a World-Class Office Experience: Create a welcoming, productive, and engaging office environment where employees can thrive and build connections. Act as Our Social Secretary: Plan and execute office events, celebrations, and team-building activities, ensuring every detail—from decorations to setup—is thoughtfully managed. Champion People Initiatives: Collaborate with the People Team to support programs like volunteering, employee resource groups, and sustainability efforts. Manage Budgets with Precision: Oversee and optimise office and social budgets. Stock and Setup Essentials: Coordinate beverage and snack services, from orders to preparation, so the office is always well-stocked. Maintain Office Operations: Address day-to-day office needs, such as repairs and furniture upkeep, and manage relationships with third-party vendors for cleaning, maintenance, and security. Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Stay up-to-date with H&S laws, manage incident reporting, run assessments, and ensure sufficient First Aid and Fire Warden coverage. We’d love to hear from you if you: Have proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally in a dynamic start-up environment. Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving workplace and can adapt to change with flexibility and enthusiasm. Are passionate about fostering a vibrant workplace culture and enjoy organising engaging social events. Have solid knowledge or a keen interest in managing H&S compliance and health & safety laws. Are highly organised, able to juggle priorities, and remain calm under pressure while meeting deadlines. Handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
