The role requires the need for a degree of flexibility to cover reception desk for 5 days a week, We have one Full time post at Royal Gwent Hospital Newport (37.5 hours) and one part time post 3 days at St Woolos Hospital. (22.5 hours Mon Tues Wed) The successful candidate of this exciting post will be an integral member of the Radiology Team at The Royal Gwent and St Woolos Hospital Newport. Working as part of an essential admin and clerical team, responsible for the day-to-day receptioning and maintenance of inpatient and outpatient appointments, the post holder will ensure service users have a positive and professional experience at all times. Main duties of the job Main duties of the job The duties of this new post includes, Ensuring all patients are processed in accordance with the internal and national targets, providing essential reception meet and greet service and processing request forms for Radiology. Welcoming Patients and visitors to a busy reception desk, ensuring data quality is maintained. Process referrals in a timely fashion across Radiology in ABUHB. Liaising with other team members to ensure that waiting times are kept to a minimum, working with the radiology referral and booking manager and booking service team Ensure a professional and friendly face to face and telephone manner is maintaine The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
