This is a 11 bedded unit that cares for children with a wide variety of medical issues, including long term ventilation and complex respiratory conditions. The successful applicant will be required to provide leadership to the team with particular focus on patient safety, workforce management and quality improvement. You will work closely with the senior nursing and medical team to ensure delivery of these high standards of care. You will have an RSCN/RN Child with a post-registration qualification and relevant experience in the specialty. You will be team-orientated and also able to work autonomously; you will have excellent leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to the advancement of practice in this field. As a Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for leading the ward through the improving quality agenda, responsible for patient safety and patient experience MFT is one of the largest NHS Trusts in England with a turnover of £2.8bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
