Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be instrumental in embedding and maintaining Clinical Governance systems to enhance patient care and safety. Your key responsibilities will include: Clinical Governance Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee robust Clinical Governance frameworks to ensure compliance with CQC standards. Internal Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate clinical performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Policy and Procedure Development: Create, update, and manage policies and procedures to reflect best practices in clinical care and governance. Governance Committees and Reporting: Chair Clinical Governance and Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, ensuring effective communication and accountability across teams. Risk Management and Quality Improvement: Identify, assess, and manage clinical risks, while driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Staff Training and Development: Support the development of clinical staff through training programs and continuous professional development focused on governance and quality standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and partner organizations, to ensure transparency and maintain high standards of care. CQC Readiness: Lead the hospitals preparations for CQC inspections, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
