Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver creative arts therapy sessions tailored to the needs of SEMH students. Collaborate with staff and external professionals to create holistic support plans. Monitor and record student progress, adapting approaches as necessary. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes emotional growth. Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach. Adhere to school policies, particularly regarding safeguarding and confidentiality. Participate in training and team meetings to contribute to the wider school community. Qualifications And Experience A recognized qualification in creative arts therapy (e.g., art, music, or drama therapy). Membership with a professional body (e.g., HCPC, BAAT, or BACP). Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, is desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
