If you have fantastic communication skills and confident working on a computer and want to make a difference , we want to hear from you. The post holder will be required to provide a professional, efficient and comprehensive reception service within the department’s reception desk, fulfilling all necessary reception, clerical, administrative and general tasks required to facilitate and record patient treatment using paper based health records and information technology systems. Be familiar with, and work to, the protocols and policies of the Emergency Department and Trust policies. Closely liaise with other disciplines while remaining courteous to provide reliable and quality service to patients, relatives and carers, healthcare professionals, internal departments and outside organisations Be aware of the Health and Safety aspects of staff and patients and to promote a safe environment to work in Commit to further training as required by the role and when competent to, assist in the training of others.
