Expectations to deliver a high standard of service with patient safety and quality are a priority. Applicants with experience are desirable however, training to achieve the standards required will be given. Main duties of the job The successful candidates will have a unique opportunity to join the Theatre Department at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Working as part of a team you will provide exceptional care for each patient, only ever caring for one patient at a time, enabling you to ensure you are always doing your very best for every patient every time. Our Theatre HCA's play an essential role in the smooth running of our theatres and help us maintain our exceptional levels of care. Theatre HCA's assist the wider theatre team with the safe passage of patients through the surgical pathway. Working for your organisation The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital comprises of nine Operating Theatres covering a range of Major and Day Case Surgery including Urology, Upper GI and Bariatric, Colo-Rectal, Orthopaedic Trauma, Vascular, Ophthalmology and an Emergency CEPOD Theatre 24/7.
