The Role NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a Clinical Support Worker - Theatres. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Support Worker will carry out care duties for patients, in support of a registered nurse/Operating Department practitioner (ODP) and will regularly work unsupervised but with the wider theatre team available for reference at all times. You will also carry out assigned duties involving direct and indirect patient care within the theatre environments and will be required to perform physical/technical/emotional aspects of patient care in an efficient, effective and responsible manner with accuracy in a busy environment. Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment. Ability to work unsupervised. To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.
