Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment process Job Overview Band 3 Secretary to Practice Educators, An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to support the clerical duties for the Division of Surgery and Medicine Practice Educator Team. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be expected to provide administrative and secretarial support arising from study day bookings, attendance records, managing local training databases and spreadsheets and taking telephone enquires relating to course bookings. This post requires the applicant to have excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with IT skills and knowledge. They should be conversant with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word and other Office 365 tools. The successful candidate will be based at Royal Gwent Hospital Hospital, however may be required to travel to other Health Board sites. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, achieving level C or above in English and Math’s Advanced word and text processing keyboard skills. Knowledge and experience of IT systems Desirable criteria NVQ 3 or equivalent in Business and Administration.
