Royal Alexandra Hospital Older People and Stroke Wards are looking for three Band 2 Health Care Support Worker's to join our team. The shift pattern is 11.5 hour shifts worked Monday to Sunday on a day and night shift rotation. The Healthcare Support Worker carries out direct patient care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Applicants must have a caring disposition and the ability to work with others as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good verbal and written communication skills and literacy and numeracy skills are essential. Applicants must have the ability to fulfil the requirements of the Band 2 job description including undertaking practice development programmes. We require enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude that has the ability to work within our friendly ward teams. You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change.
