The aim of the programme is to improve health and wellbeing in local communities by improving access and support for the building blocks of health, upskilling the workforce to support local communities in a culturally competent manner and running events to reduce health and social inequalities in Ealing through structured public education, raising awareness and signposting. The team will be supporting the Ealing Borough based Partnership in the delivery of community outreach events and public health collaboration, fostering relationships across the borough to build capacity for equity and inclusion by planning, coordinating and facilitating ongoing conversations and projects around health equity and social determinants of health. Provide administrative support to the Healthy Ealing Team to be the coordinating function to bring together a wide cross-section of stakeholders to run health outreach events for local targeted population groups, including (but not limited to: asylum seekers, people experiencing homelessness, vulnerable migrants, gypsy/Roma communities). Support the achievement of agreed set of Health and Local Authority performance targets. Ensure business is coordinated and delivered in a timely and efficient manner, proactively managing email, correspondence and telephone enquiries Act as a point of contact to deal with questions for the Healthy Ealing Team Coordinate external partners (e.g. pharmacists, mental health teams, drug & alcohol specialists) to ensure their attendance at Healthy Ealing events, and be the point of contact for operational questions prior to the event.
