The borough of Ealing has a diverse range of communities and population with unique health and social care challenges. The Healthy Ealing programme is a new initiative aimed at enhancing the health and social care outcomes for the residents of Ealing.
The aim of this role is to further develop and provide operational support for the Healthy Ealing programme in Ealing. This team will use targeted, culturally competent and innovative approaches to deliver or facilitate effective activities to improve health and wellbeing to specific groups.
The aim of the programme is to improve health and wellbeing in local communities by improving access and support for the building blocks of health, upskilling the workforce to support local communities in a culturally competent manner and running events to reduce health and social inequalities in Ealing through structured public education, raising awareness and signposting.
The team will be supporting the Ealing Borough based Partnership in the delivery of community outreach events and public health collaboration, fostering relationships across the borough to build capacity for equity and inclusion by planning, coordinating and facilitating ongoing conversations and projects around health equity and social determinants of health.
Provide administrative support to the Healthy Ealing Team to be the coordinating function to bring together a wide cross-section of stakeholders to run health outreach events for local targeted population groups, including (but not limited to: asylum seekers, people experiencing homelessness, vulnerable migrants, gypsy/Roma communities).
Support the achievement of agreed set of Health and Local Authority performance targets.

Act as a point of contact to deal with questions for the Healthy Ealing Team
Coordinate external partners (e.g. pharmacists, mental health teams, drug & alcohol specialists) to ensure their attendance at Healthy Ealing events, and be the point of contact for operational questions prior to the event.
Provide specialist secretarial/administration for the Healthy Ealing team using appropriate software packages within set timescales and to a high standard of accuracy and presentation
Sort and prioritise all incoming mail and e-mail, distributing as appropriate and alerting managers to urgent matters
Co-ordinate internal team meetings and relevant meetings with external partners, ensuring agendas and papers are available to key stakeholders as appropriate and to ensure no conflict of timetable for key attendees.
Support the Directorate in project management, including and participating in events
