The shift pattern for this position is 08:30 -16:30pm Duties The post holder will facilitate access to oral health promotion, dental preventive and treatment services through all Oral Health Improvement Programmes. Duties will include: Support the delivery of Childsmile programmes e.g. Toothbrushing and Fluoride Varnish within nurseries and schools. After training may provide support to vulnerable families in their own homes. Provide support to a wider range of establishments including nursing homes, prisons, homeless units, community and primary care dental service settings. Minimum Requirements SVQ 3 in Health Care, or working towards, or equivalent experience working with a caring environment/ role The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary/ agency team Effective written and verbal communication Good organisational skills and an ability to carry out assigned client care and tasks effectively within a busy environment It would be desirable if the successful candidate held a Childsmile certificate.
