If so, we invite your application for the role of Assistant Psychologist in the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). You would be part of the wider Acute Psychology Service. Psychologists are strongly placed to lead on service development and delivery across all elements of the care pathway. We have an established track record in service innovation and support a diverse range of clinical and academic interests with strong links to university programmes. There is an internal CPD programme that you would also have access to. Main duties of the job The CRHTTs offer crisis assessment, crisis intervention and brief therapeutic interventions to service users experiencing a significant crisis in their mental health and psychological well being. The CRHTT teams receive a wide breadth of referrals which provides opportunities to work with and a variety of presentations using different therapeutic approaches. The role of the assistant Psychologist in the CRHTTs includes: providing and encouraging the use of psychological formulations to inform overall care planning offering brief psychological interventions to service users developing the psychological skill set of the multidisciplinary team through provision of training / teaching /consultation liaising with other teams / services to support discharge plans / onward referrals.
