A keen interest in multiple sclerosis (MS) supported by experience of working with patients with MS/neurological conditions, as well as an MS qualification or a willingness to undertake this in the future is essential. Experience of teaching in any capacity would be essential and some experience of working within the primary care setting is preferred. To deliver a specialist service providing specialist case management and educational support for patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) under the supervision of the Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Nurse Lead (MSNS), coordinating care with partner agencies and key stakeholders with the aim of promoting well-being, education for patients and healthcare professionals in order to prevent hospital admission by maintaining safe and effective care in the community setting.
