The post holder will be encouraged to gain and maintain approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 as soon as possible after appointment (if not already approved); he or she will also be encouraged to gain approval as an Approved Clinician. He or she will be required to fulfil responsibilities under the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010.
