Band Specialty Doctor: £56,346 to £90,000 a year per annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

Provide senior clinical input to the assessment and management of patients within the CMHT by, but not exclusively, managing outpatient clinics, collaborating in Care and Treatment Planning reviews, and offering advice and support to team members in managing patients.

Participate in managerial and clinical team meetings.

The post holder will be responsible for organising their professional day and for ensuring that they can be contacted at all times during working hours.

The post holder will be encouraged to gain and maintain approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 as soon as possible after appointment (if not already approved); he or she will also be encouraged to gain approval as an Approved Clinician. He or she will be required to fulfil responsibilities under the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2. This may require providing clinical advice to the Primary Care Mental Health Service.
