HMP YOI Moorland is a category C men's prison and Young Offenders Institution based in Hatfield, South Yorkshire. The site offers a range of healthcare services including Physical Health, Mental Health, Pharmacy and Substance Misuse. This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. No NVQ is required - we will support you to achieve this! Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts. We deliver healthcare 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and the rota runs fortnightly: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Shifts are either 07:30 - 19:30 or 19:30 - 07:30 Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £28,690 per annum - depending on experience. Some of your duties will include: Working within the primary care team, you will work with Nurses and Nursing Associates across the service Assist with clinical observations, vaccination clinics etc Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics Support the nursing and pharmacy teams onsite Support the mental health and substance misuse teams as necessary Assist with release and discharge when needed If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
