Nursing applicants should already hold NMC registration and have successfully completed their preceptorship programme. Please note: Newly qualified Nurses or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process. We sadly cannot accept CWPs for this role. As a member of the team you will provide assessment and treatment to children and young people who present with mental health issues, with an emphasis on formulation and psychologically informed brief interventions. You must be willing to work collaboratively with children and young people as well as their carers and families . You will need to have some experience of working with children, young people and families. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are required to have the ability and experience to manage complex cases in partnership with other agencies. In addition you will further develop skills in psychological assessments, psychosocial interventions and care management. There is an expectation of commitment to the development of high quality care, and to engage in quality improvement activities. You will be supported with regular management and clinical supervision.
