You must be HCPC registered and possess relevant professional qualifications to degree level or equivalent and either an MSc, FIBMS or equivalent in a relevant discipline and at least 5 years of demonstrable experience within all routine sections in Microbiology. Possession of any specialist skills or knowledge will be an advantage. You must have excellent technical, interpersonal and IT skills and exhibit a commitment to the development of your specialist discipline. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and/or as part of a team.
