North West London Pathology is seeking a Senior Biomedical Scientist for the Department of Microbiology at Charing Cross Hospital. The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered, hold relevant professional qualifications (degree level or equivalent, and preferably an MSc or FIBMS), and have at least 5 years of comprehensive experience in routine Microbiology. Candidates should possess strong technical, interpersonal, IT, and communication skills, demonstrating a commitment to service improvement and the future direction of the laboratory.

Responsibilities include managing daily laboratory operations, collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery, developing professional expertise while training staff, and coordinating specialist clinical and scientific services to meet regulatory standards.
