Following participants to outcome the episode of care, liaising with relevant teams for follow on investigations. The post holder will attend Endoscopy and support participant, with emphasis on patient safety and dignity during all aspects of bowel screen programme. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures are observed and meet the organisations requirements. The post holder will be expected to work across site (Royal Glamorgan Hospital/Prince Charles Hospital/Princess of Wales Hospital) Working week is over 5 days having a flexible approach to working hours/days to accommodate the BSW list within the service. Participate as a member of the nursing and multidisciplinary team providing high standards of evidence based care in delivery of the Welsh bowel screening programme. First point of contact for participants who have received a positive faecal occult blood test. Provide specialist advice, support and continuity of care throughout the participant pathway.
