Practice Interview

What to expect
First, we'll enable your camera & microphone and then ask you to record a short introduction about yourself, about 30 seconds long, to make sure your camera is working ok.

Then, we'll ask you to answer one or more questions of your choice from the list below:
1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what motivated you to apply for this role in the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme?
2. What do you understand about the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and its importance in saving lives?
3. Describe your experience with administrative tasks such as booking appointments and managing correspondence. What tools or software have you used in previous roles?
4. Have you had any previous experience working on a helpline or in direct public-facing roles? How do you approach speaking with individuals who may be distressed or anxious?
5. Can you give an example of a time when you had to demonstrate empathy in a professional setting? How did it impact the situation?
6. While prior laboratory experience is not essential, how do you feel about working in a laboratory setting? What qualities do you think are important for someone in this role?
7. How do you typically contribute to a team environment? Can you provide an example where you worked collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal?
8. What aspect of this role excites you the most, and how do you envision making a difference in the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme?
You can answer as many of these questions as you want. Good luck!
