What to expect
First, we'll enable your camera & microphone and then ask you to record a short introduction about yourself, about 30 seconds long, to make sure your camera is working ok.

2. What do you understand about the role of a Clinic Collection Assistant within the context of blood donation?
3. Can you give an example of a time you provided excellent customer service? What did you do, and what was the outcome?
4. How would you approach welcoming a donor who appears nervous or apprehensive about giving blood?
5. This role requires performing venepuncture. Although training will be provided, how do you feel about learning new technical skills?
6. What experience do you have in maintaining records or managing patient information?
7. Describe a situation where you had to work as part of a team. What role did you play, and how did the team perform?
8. How do you handle conflicts or disagreements within a team environment?
9. The role requires varying work hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays. How comfortable are you with that, and how do you manage your work-life balance?
10. Can you give an example of a time when you had to adapt quickly to a change in a work environment or procedure?
11. Why do you think adherence to clinical and quality standards is important in this role?
12. How would you ensure that donor safety is prioritised during the blood donation process?
13. Can you speak Welsh? If so, could you provide an example of how this language skill could enhance your ability to engage with donors?
14. How do you ensure clear and effective communication with both colleagues and donors?
15. What motivates you to be part of an organisation that facilitates life-saving donations?
16. How can you contribute to creating a caring environment for donors?
17. Do you have any questions about the role or the Welsh Blood Service?
