The Welsh Blood Service is seeking a full-time Clinic Collection Assistant in Pontyclun to support blood donation operations. This role involves welcoming donors, conducting eligibility tests, performing blood collection, maintaining records, and providing basic clinical aftercare and advice. Additionally, the assistant will be responsible for loading and unloading mobile donation equipment and ensuring a positive experience for donors, which necessitates excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

No medical background is required as comprehensive training will be provided for venepuncture. The position features varied working hours, including weekends and holidays, and is fixed term until September 30, 208. Applicants who can speak Welsh are preferred, but both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply. The Clinic Collection Assistant will be part of a multi-skilled team focused on delivering high-quality service while adhering to clinical and quality standards for donor and patient safety.
