The ideal candidate must have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to develop and maintain key working relationships with clinical and non-clinical colleagues and pay meticulous attention to detail. This is an extremely busy team and the ability to prioritise your workload will be crucial. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure, on their own initiative. Deputise for the Clinical Effectiveness Lead/Operational Services Manager to deliver clinical audit, outcomes, service evaluation training to clinical and non-clinical staff in the Trust. Provide feedback on clinical effectiveness activities through committee, publication and training sessions. Assist in the process for managing NICE guidance, National GIRFT Programme and relevant NCEPOD studies within the Trust, providing support to the Clinical Effectiveness Lead/Operational Services Manager. Support Clinical Effectiveness Lead with the management of the Trust NICE Programme. Support clinicians and liaise with divisional teams to maintain compliance. Link relevant NICE with audit planning as appropriate. Line manage the Clinical Effectiveness administrative team and deputise for the Clinical Effectiveness Lead/Operational Services Manager as appropriate Ensure the provision of accurate and timely data to National registries such as; Spine Tango, NMTR, ICNARC and NNAP, providing regular status reports to the Clinical Effectiveness Lead/Operational Services Manager Monitor and support change processes within the department, as directed by the division. Lead and support change management, ensuring opportunities are identified and acted upon. Ensure compliance with Trust wide policies and procedures. Support the Clinical Effectiveness Lead to develop local policies and procedures. Support the Clinical Effectiveness Officer to ensure deadlines are met.
