We provide primary care to around 13500 patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and well-motivated individual to work within the practice team as an Operational Administrator. This is a mixed role between reception and administrator work.Attention to detail would be a distinct advantage along with good customer service skills and experience of working within a team. The hours are Mondays and Wednesdays, 07:30 - 18:30, 22 hours per week. We pride ourselves on being a strong and empathetic team and it is important that you have the personality to fit in with this ethos. Covering front desk where you will help and support patients with their appointments and queries. Supporting the triage Dr with online consultations. Document workflow which will entail sorting the daily post and scanning the letters into the system where you will then process these within our clinical system. Patient registrations as they come into the surgery. About us Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice. Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments. Communicate test results using taught skills and ensuring accuracy. Be aware of your surroundings and of the patients in the waiting room. Be aware of which doctors and nurses are currently working in the building and whether they have arrived for their clinics. Observe clinics running late and advice patients waiting and offer apologies.
