You will be Cardiology Team lead Physiotherapist within the BHI, working closely with the Team Lead Occupational Therapist and contribute to the other pathways within the CCCS Team. You will work across the teams to provide a seven day a week service to our patients We are looking for an innovative, inclusive leader who is passionate about delivering a service which is patient centred and ensures patients receive the right care at the right time in the right place. The post holder will work closely with the Cardiac pathway lead and Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist and CCCS Band 7s to provide a high quality patient centred service to patients and jointly manage a large team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Technicians. We are looking for an individual who has advanced skills, can treat and manage complex patients and who is confident to challenge current practice and ensure that our patients receive up-to-date evidence based treatments The successful candidate will contribute to the weekend and bank holiday rota. Undertake a clinical team leader role, in planning, coordinating, and delivering the Physiotherapy service provided to patients across the Cardiology Pathway in the CCCS Team. With the support of the Pathway Leads and Clinical Specialist evaluate patient services across the specialities and assist in the development, planning and progression of service provision. To take a major role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the specialty, who may have complex and / or chronic presentations, and to determine clinical diagnosis and Physiotherapy treatment indicated, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. To work and lead in the integrated therapy team - being a line manager to both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Staff. To provide highly specialist advice and training to Physiotherapists, students and other healthcare professionals in their speciality. The post holder will be required to work shifts including weekends and to participate in the bank holiday rota.
